President Biden criticizes the International Criminal Court's request for arrest warrants against Israeli leaders
Israel on Tuesday called on “countries of the civilized world” to oppose the International Criminal Court prosecutor's request for arrest warrants against its leaders, declaring that they would ignore the arrest warrants.
Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, who was mentioned along with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Monday's announcement in The Hague, called it an “outrageous” attempt to interfere in Israel's more than seven-month Gaza war against Hamas.
