Great Britain has been catapulted from the continent summery weather, Unpleasant stormy hell thanks to a low-pressure tire. Almost all of England, parts of Scotland and parts of Wales have been placed under a yellow weather warning for thunderstorms.
Tomorrow, the With office says an area of low pressure will approach Britain from the east, bringing heavy and in some places prolonged rainfall.
“The precise track of the low pressure will determine how far west of Britain the heavy rain will reach,” the forecaster said.
Chief meteorologist Andy Page said: “The low pressure area developing in the southern North Sea will push a band of heavy rainfall north and west across Britain.
“Areas exposed to the strengthening northerly winds are likely to see the highest amounts of rainfall, although exact details about the trajectory of the low-level winds and therefore where we might see the highest rainfall totals remain uncertain.
“Warnings are likely to be updated as more details become known, so it is important that people keep an eye on the forecast.”
