Singapore Airlines has confirmed that four Irish passengers were on board the terrifying flight from London, which had to make an emergency landing in Bangkok due to heavy turbulence.

Thai airport officials said a 73-year-old British man had died and 30 were injured as flight data showed the flight had dropped 6,000 feet within minutes.
