The youth royal houses would have to complete National Service if Rishi Sunak and the Conservative Party were to win in the upcoming general election.
Under a new Tory plan, people aged 18 would have to serve a year in the army or volunteer in the local community.
Sunak said people would have to volunteer one weekend out of every month if they wanted to opt out of the military placement.
There would be some exceptions to the arrangement, but according to De Telegraafthe royal children would be expected to participate in National Service.
The Prince and Princess of Wales have three children: Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6.
While Princess Beatrice and Eugenie also have young children who are expected to join in once they turn 18. Prince Edward's son, the Earl of Wessex, who is 16, would also be eligible to take part.
However, the royal family has a long history of military service. Prince William attended the prestigious Sandhurst before serving full-time in the army for seven and a half years.
The Conservatives have also announced a plan to encourage teenagers to sign up for their military program, potentially giving those who participate an advantage in future job applications.
One of the options touted was introducing accelerated pathways into graduate and civil service programs for those entering military service.
While another proposal would encourage employers to consider armed forces recruits during the recruitment process and give participants the chance to highlight military experience on their UCAS applications for university.
Approximately 30,000 places will be available each year in the 12-month military program Conservatives hoping it would be very competitive.
Sunak said: “National timetables in countries around the world show how fulfilling this is for young people.
“We want to ensure that Britain's future generations can get the most out of the National Service. That's why we're exploring ways in which this can open doors they wouldn't otherwise reach in terms of work or education.
“Only the Conservatives will take the bold action necessary to realize a secure future for the next generation.”
A new Royal Commission would be tasked with finalizing potential stimulus measures for the military program.
It would look at other similar programs around the world.
Exemptions would also be explored, although these are expected to be limited. This includes people already serving in the military and those with caring responsibilities.
It is thought that teenagers should complete National Service regardless of whether they are going to university, have a job or have a gap year.
