QI recently came across your insightful comment on leadership. In navigating my role within a predominantly male company, I have encountered resistance due to my gender. Have you faced similar challenges in your career, and if so, can you offer any advice based on your experiences?
a When I first joined JJ O'Toole Ltd, it was predominantly male-oriented, with male directors, management and employees. My introduction to the company was challenging and met with resistance not only from some employees, but also from certain manufacturing partners, customers and individuals outside the business domain.
