Vodafone Idea has announced the 'Vi Guarantee' offer where users will get 130GB of free data. The free data will be offered to 5G/4G consumers in India, except in these regions: Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Assam and North-East and Orissa. To get the free data, a user just needs to enter a USSD code or make a call. Below you will find all the details of Vi's free data offer.
Vi 130GB free data offer explained: how to make a claim
To claim the guaranteed data benefit, eligible customers can dial 121199 or *199*199#. The telco is offering 10GB of free data for 13 cycles of 28 days. This means 10 GB of free high-speed data every 28 days. For 13 cycles this becomes 130 GB.

However, to avail the offer, users must have a prepaid plan of Rs 239 or above. The user will only be able to use this additional data once their existing data quota has been exhausted. This offer is only valid for Vi subscribers with 5G smartphones or who have recently upgraded to a new 4G smartphone. So Vi is basically saying that if your data quota is used up, instead of charging with the data bags, we will give you free data.
It's worth noting that the telco is known for occasionally crediting user accounts with free data. The most important thing is how much value the customer gets for every GB of free data he/she gets from the telecom provider.
