Vodafone Idea launches 'Vi Guarantee Programme' to offer extra data to 4G, 5G phone users, ET Telecom

NEW DELHI: Vodafone idea (Vi) Monday launched the 'Vi guarantee program', an offer with a limited duration prepaid users on 4G and 5G smartphones.

Under the Vi Guarantee Program, Vi users are guaranteed 130 GB of additional data for one year, Vi said in a statement. It stated that 10 GB of data will be automatically credited to the user's account on every 28th day for 13 consecutive cycles.

To avail this additional data offer, Vi users must have a daily data unlimited plan of Rs 239 and above, according to the statement.

However, the user will only be able to use this additional data once their existing data quota has been exhausted. This offer is only valid for Vi subscribers with 5G smartphones or who have recently upgraded to a new 4G smartphone, the statement said.

The Vi Warranty Offer is currently available to all 5G and new 4G smartphone users across India except Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Assam and Orissa.

“The 'Vi Guarantee' program is designed to meet this growing demand by providing users with an uninterrupted, high-speed data experience. This initiative underlines our commitment to providing a truly unlimited data experience so that our customers get more can do on the Internet without worrying about data limitations,” said Avneesh Khosla, Chief Marketing Officer at Vi.

Many smartphone users in India are not maximizing the potential of their 4G/5G mobile devices due to a lack of sufficient data. With this offer, users can continue to enjoy their favorite content even after their daily quota has been used up, at no additional cost, by using the data from their Vi Guarantee quota.

With the above in mind, Vi Guarantee is a limited-time offering designed to meet users' growing data needs and encourage them to explore the full capabilities of their devices for better productivity and connectivity.
