An 81-year-old “serial slingshot shooter” was arrested after terrorizing a community in the US for ten yearssays the police.
Prince Raymond King is accused of using ball bearings to smash windows and car windows in Southern California.
Investigators say he narrowly avoided crowds during the attack in Azusa, a city about 25 miles (40 kilometers) east of Los Angeles.
Azusa Police Lt. Jake Bushey said Saturday that detectives learned that most of the ball bearings were shot from the suspect's backyard.
He said the suspected motive at this stage is “malicious mischief”.
King was arrested Thursday after officers served a search warrant and reportedly found a slingshot and ball bearings in his Azusa home.
The city is located in the San Gabriel Valley region of Los Angeles County and has a population of approximately 50,000.
He has to appear in court tomorrow.
