The Sussexes have little contact with many of the most senior members of the royal family, including Prince William and Princess Kate, However, Harry remains on good terms with his cousins.
Eugenie even visited Harry and Meghan in Montecito, as the prince happily chatted with her and husband Jack Brooksbank at the coronation last May.
Royal author Tom Quinn narrated The mirror: “For William and Kate, an alliance between Harry and Meghan and Beatrice and Eugenie is a major concern.
“They feel that Beatrice and Eugenie feel that, as virtual outcasts themselves, they have far more in common with Harry and Megan than with any other part of the family.”
Mr Quinn added: “The situation is made worse by the fact that the senior royals' most important asset – Kate herself – is effectively out of action as she continues her treatment for cancer.
“Although Harry and Meghan have little sympathy for it Prince AndreasThey have kept in regular contact with Beatrice and Eugenie, who have always been free from any association with Meghan's angry, bitter time in Britain.”
Beatrice and Eugenie are not technically royals and are not funded by the British taxpayer. but will occasionally appear at royal events.
Ms Nash said: “Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie and their cousins were at the Garden Party to support the Prince of Wales as the Princess continues her recovery. but they do not take on official roles.
“They have attended royal engagements in the past, sometimes 'in the presence' of the late Queen, for example, so they may appear at other events this summer as members of the King's family.”
Eugenie posted about the event on her Instagramwriting: “Whether rain or shine, I was delighted to join my family yesterday to meet some special individuals at the Buckingham Palace Garden Party who have gone above and beyond to support their local communities and the country .”
