Call of Duty Black Ops 6 is coming to Game Pass this year

Microsoft's first-party games usually launch Xbox's subscription service Game Pass on the day they are released.

However, there was doubt that Activision Blizzard games would follow suit, especially since the publisher previously stated that its games would never be available on the service.

People were unclear about the future of Call of Duty until eagle-eyed fans noticed what they thought was a mistake.

Both Android and iOS users who turned on Xbox Game Pass app notifications received a surprise announcement on their phones.

The message reads: “Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is coming to Game Pass on day one later this year.”

It is believed that Microsoft would send out this notification around the time the new Call of Duty trailer premiered.

The live-action reveal trailer will air in a few hours today (Tuesday, May 28, 2024), at 10am ET / 7am PT / 3pm UK.

Activision has officially announced that the The next game would be called Black Ops 6 after leaks from a newspaper advertising the game.

A showcase for the game is scheduled for June 7, after the next Xbox Direct, but this new teaser trailer comes even sooner.
