WWE Clash At The Castle comes to Glasgow next month and hometown hero Drew McIntyre has a huge opportunity.
Almost two years after the defeat at the inauguration Clash at the castle the Cardiff event could see the Scottish warrior – who held the World Heavyweight title for just five minutes at WrestleMania – win the gold in his home country, with tickets now on sale.
The former world champion is confirmed to face the current one World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest during the premium live event at the OVO Hydro Arena on June 15.
Drew won the title from Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 40 in early April, but less than 5 minutes and 30 seconds later CM Punk had him on his back while Priest took advantage by cashing in his Money In The Bank briefcase.
The Scottish superstar was excluded from the King of the Ring tournament due to injury, but he will be cleared to wrestle again and given a chance for revenge in Glasgow, four years after winning his first world title without fans during the pandemic.

WWE Clash At The Castle Predictions
Drew McIntyre MUST become heavyweight champion of the world in Glasgow, there is no doubt about that.
September will mark it two years since he came up short during Roman Reigns' historic world title run, but this time there is no such logistical obstacle in the Scottish Warrior's path.
He deserves this moment for a hometown crown, especially after his WrestleMania win turned sour thanks to the Money In The Bank payout.
However, that disappointment with Damian Priest was justified and paved the way for this chance for an emotional victory with his family in the front row.
Then there's the not-insignificant matter of CM Punk waiting in the wings, and he could always be the one to spoil McIntyre's moment again.
Elsewhere in the show, it seems very likely that McIntyre's fellow Scottish wrestler Piper Niven will take her own shot at glory, with an expected match against Bayley yet to be announced.
