The Poco M6 family is about to grow some more, many months after the release of its first member – the M6 Pro 5G – in August last year. The M6 And M6 Pro have now been added and now we should prepare for the launch of the Poco M6 Plus.
This model has been certified by BIS for sale in India, so at least one market where it will be offered is very clear. The Poco M6 Plus will reportedly be rebranded Redmi Note 13Ra device that was recently made official in China.
Now it looks like it will go international under a different name. If this comes to fruition and the Poco M6 Plus is nothing but a rebranded Redmi Note 13R, expect it to come with a 6.74-inch 720×1600 90Hz LCD display with a peak brightness of 600 nits, the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC on the helm, 4GB of RAM, 128GB of expandable storage, a 50MP main camera, a 5MP selfie snapper, and a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W wired charging.
So it would have the same chipset as the Poco M6, the same screen size, resolution and refresh rate, the same cameras and the same battery capacity and charging speed. Pretty much everything about it seems identical to the non-Plus M6, so we think something might have changed – perhaps a beefier battery to justify the Plus name?
We'll have to wait and see. Since the phone is now starting to perform the certification dance, we expect more details about it to be revealed soon.
