Friday's Freeze Ya Bits Off Busking competition for middle and elementary schools has been canceled due to the limited number of schools available.
However, auditions will still be held as normal for other buskers on Saturdays between 10am and 2pm on the streets and the finals will still be held on Sundays at the SBS St James Theatre.
Gore District Council senior events co-ordinator Jessica Swan thought there would still be a school to perform for fun on Friday.
Buskers can still register online to participate in round one from 10 a.m. to noon and round two from noon to 2 p.m. on Saturday.
