Reliance Jio’s AirFiber service is now available across India. It is powered by the company’s 5G SA (standalone) network and comes with OTT (over-the-top) benefits that are bundled in at no extra cost. The company has long been trying to replace traditional DTH (Direct-to-Home) connections with JioFiber. But can Jio AirFiber do the trick? One of the best AirFiber plans for a family of 4+ is the 100 Mbps plan. The 100 Mbps plan comes in two configurations, with both the plans offering OTT benefits, but one is more expensive as it also bundles Netflix. Let’s take a look at the 100 Mbps plan offered by Jio AirFiber to see if it can replace your DTH connection.

Then there’s the Rs 1199 plan, which offers 17 OTT benefits. The above 14 OTT benefits are the same, but three platforms are added here – Netflix Basic, Amazon Prime Lite and FanCode (via JioTV+).
This plan also comes with 1TB of monthly data. If you are looking at any of these plans, you can easily fulfill your entertainment needs. These plans can replace your DTH connections as they bring a variety of platforms into the mix. Whether you want to watch Indian soap operas or movies on the go, this is a much better alternative than DTH which is expensive and doesn’t even allow on-demand content.
