Jeremy Clarkson has tried to reassure A-level students with an annual tweet about how his life was going despite his bad grades.
The presenter used his 2024 message to promote his pub opening at the Windmill in Asthall, Oxfordshireon the back of his Amazon TV series Clarkson's Farm.
Clarkson only achieved C and U grades in his A-level results (which led to some obvious jokes online about missing letters) and has spent the last 10 years tweeting about his results day successes.
“Don't worry if you A-level results are not what you hoped for,” he wrote on Thursday.
“I got a C and two Us, and here I am, 46 years later, with my own pub.
“It opens next weekend if you feel like stopping by.”
The former Top Gear presenter has become synonymous with A-level results day and has been tweeting every year since 2014.
Here's how he's been bragging since then.
Jeremy Clarkson has been tweeting about A-level results day since 2014.
He starts off modestly and then brags about his Merc.
Anyone who failed their A-levels would surely feel better at the thought of Clarkson relaxing in St Tropez.
Can anyone imagine Clarkson on a superyacht?
Depending on whether he opted for the £6 per gram option or the Tesco variant, this might be Clarkson's biggest boast yet – and one that also includes a name for his chef.
His school results clearly show that he is unable to make decisions.
To give us some peace of mind, he just rents it.
Clarkson may not have been satisfied with his French country house, but during the pandemic he started building his Cotswold empire.
It might be worth noting that you don't always need a Bentley (or a certain amount of wealth) to make friends.
It's not clear if this is the same yacht as previously mentioned, but it certainly looks luxurious.
Clarkson continues the Cotswold tradition by calling it his own brewery.
