New AirPods Pro firmware beta brings new nod gesture and more

AirPods Pro 2 get new features with iOS 18



The third developer beta for the latest AirPods Pro 2 software is now available for those who want to test new features.

Apple offers developer betas for almost all of its platforms, even AirPodsThese AirPods firmware betas aren't as common as beta updates for the other platforms, but since Apple is adding notable new features to the mix, developers need time to test before the public release.

The release includes features Apple announced at WWDC, including the new head-shaking yes or no for responding to Siri. Improved noise cancellation and personalized spatial audio for gaming are also present.
