Supply chain starts delivering displays for M4 MacBook Pro

Rumors have not yet been able to provide any clarity on when an M4 MacBook Pro There is said to be a refresh, but the display of deliveries from the supply chain could point to an upcoming announcement in the fall.

The rumor mill believes that Apple has a lot M4 updates of his Mac line-up this fallWhile there's no guarantee that all speculated models will get their chip upgrades, it appears that one product family has a good chance of making an appearance.

According to a now-deleted post on X from Display Supply Chain Consultants CEO Ross Young on Thursday, panel deliveries began in July and August for the 14-inch MacBook Pro And 16-inch MacBook Pro.

Young adds that a Q4 launch for the M4-equipped models “makes sense” based on those shipments. That's a pretty good assumption, considering the months-long component lead time for a MacBook Pro refresh.

The analyst's comments also offer hope that other Mac models will also get their fall updates, possibly in September or October.
