Whaikaha's 'chaotic' contracting may breach Public Finance Act


Whaikaha may have breached the Public Finance Act and government procurement rules by paying organisations to provide disability support services without the correct contracts in place.

Earlier this year, Whaikaha commissioned a report from consultancy Link to ensure that its commercial management was being conducted in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures and in line with good practice in the health and social services sector.
