Iron Galaxy co-CEO Adam Boyes steps down after 8 years



Iron Galaxy co-CEO Adam Boyes has announced that he will be stepping down as developer of Rumbleverse.

Boyes became CEO of Iron Galaxy in June 2016 after holding leadership positions at PlayStation, Capcom and Midway Games. In November 2020Chelsea Blasko was named co-CEO alongside Boyes. With Boyes' departure, Blasko will assume his responsibilities as sole CEO of Iron Galaxy.

During Boyes' tenure, Iron Galaxy released several titles, including the original IP Rumble VerseIn recent years the studio has expanded its activities work-for-rent and co-development activities for top game franchises such as Fortnite, Overwatch, Fallout, Apex Legends and The Last of Us.

In addition to Blasko, Iron Galaxy will still have its founder — Dave Lang — serving in a leadership role at the studio. Boyes thanked both Land and Blasko in the blog post in which he announced his departure.

Boyes will remain with Iron Galaxy until the end of 2024. He hasn't shared any details about his plans for the future, but it's clear he has no plans to retire from gaming.
