One of the anxious students awaiting the results of this year's Leaving Cert exam is Bernadette Hayden, an 83-year-old from Newbridge, Co Kildare.

Mrs Hayden, who runs the Kildare International School of Excellence for Young Musicians in Herbert Lodge, took the Ordinary Level Irish exam this year after noticing that a number of her students were from Gaelscoileanna.
