Barbara Ennis, principal of Alexandra College in Dublin, was shocked by recent comments from Higher Education Minister Patrick O'Donovan about all-boys and all-girls schools.
In an interview published this week, the Fine Gael TD is reported to have said that “society would be better” with a co-educational model and that ideally he would like to see an end to all-male schools.
