NETFLIX has revealed whether the marriages on Love Is Blind UK are legally binding.
In this popular reality format, single men and women go on dates in specially built 'pods' before ultimately becoming engaged.

The special thing is that the couples can hear each other in the cabins, but not see each other. They only meet after a proposal has been made.
Now that fans are questioning its authenticity, Netflix has confirmed that the weddings on the show are indeed legally binding.
This means that couples must seriously imagine their life with their partner before putting on the rings.
This also applies to the American version, with producer Chris Coelen previously revealing Rush: “If they choose to get married, yes, that is a legally binding wedding.”

After the first 'speed dates' in the groups, the participants continue with longer dates.
If a real connection is made, a proposal will come next.
After getting engaged and meeting in real life, they go on a romantic honeymoon.
The couples then live together for three weeks leading up to the wedding, leaving viewers in suspense about what the end result will be.
Franchise creator Chris Coelen also worked on the American version of Married at first sight.
98 Degrees singer Nick Lachey and his wife, presenter and model Vanessa Lachey, host the American version of the show.
In the United Kingdom, Caught member Matt Willis and TV presenter wife Emma Willis take the reins.
