Last Stand is a new multi-location, mixed reality PvP shooter coming to Quest this winter.
Developed by Soul Assembly (Drop Dead: The Hut, Just VR dancing), Last Stand uses full-body tracking to transform your home environment into a strategic stronghold, using everyday objects like tables and couches as cover during a 1v1 shootout. Using multi-location mixed reality, the game integrates both players’ home environments into the game.

Soul Assembly is taking this further, aiming to recreate Hollywood-style action shootouts throughout your home, and that includes the use of destructible environments. “Experience walls being broken down, windows and doors barricaded, and objects in your home being destroyed or shot at, capturing the tension and intensity of a Hollywood action scene,” the studio said.
This isn't the first time Soul Assembly has explored mixed reality gaming, and you may recall that they expanded Drop Dead: The Cabin post-launch last year with an MR mode. Titled 'Home invasion', this involves fending off hordes of zombies as they tear through walls to reach your personal space, and a next update This allows you to play without the Quest border appearing.
Last Stand is coming to Quest this winter and will be shown off at Gamescom next week.
