Your TV has hundreds of hidden free channels full of popular shows and movies – you don't even have to sign up

There are so many paid streaming services available these days, and they’re not getting any cheaper unless you’re willing to put up with ads.

But there are a lot of free alternatives with some well-known content.

And there are many more free TV channels that you can watch besides the normal TV channels, but many people are not aware of them.

These channels are all internet-based and are known as FAST, which stands for Free Ad-Supported TV.

The great thing about this is that most apps don't even require you to sign up, as they are completely free.

LG and Samsung are just two of the manufacturers who have developed their own set of special channels, which are built directly into the set.

People with an LG TV can watch the channels through an app called LG Channels.

There is a huge variety, from reality TV with Real Housewivesto top dramas and cartoons for children.

Here are some thematic channels you can enjoy:

If your smart TV doesn't have its own channels, other streaming services may be able to help you.

Look for the Pluto TV app. It has a number of themed channels.

Freevee is from Amazon advertising version with a similar offering – and is the new home of Neighbours.

There you will find channels like Back to the 90s with hits like Bay watch and a channel dedicated to everything Love Island.

If you don’t have a smart TV, you’re better off getting an Amazon Fire Stick. It gives you all these features for a low price, without having to replace your TV.
