Lamar Odom joked that his ex-wife Khloe Kardashian should have had a child with him instead of Tristan Thompson.
The former NBA star, 42, was married to reality icon Khloe for seven years.
They got married on Keeping Up With The Kardashians weeks after they first met in 2009, and were engaged within days.
Famously, the pair went on to star in their own spin-off reality show Khloe and Lamar, which ran for just one season in 2011.
However, their relationship did not last and they eventually went their separate ways, finalizing their divorce in 2016.
With Khloe expecting a second child with Tristan Thompson amid his infidelity, Lamar says she could have asked him instead.
In a video about Page sixcan be seen as a reporter asks the sports star what he thinks of Tristan and Khloe’s surrogacy news.
“Are they going to be together?” he asked, seemingly confused.
The basketball player is told that Tristan has again been caught cheating, which Lamar apparently knew nothing about.
“And they’re having another baby?” he asks.
He then grins, “She could have yelled at me for that.”
Six years after their divorce, Lamar regularly speaks about his regrets about their failed marriage, only this year he admits he still misses his ex-wife and said he wished he had “protected” her.
Meanwhile, Khloe and Tristan are reportedly co-parenting their new arrival, who will be born “soon”.
It has been reported that the couple are expecting a baby boy, who was conceived in November – before Tristan’s cheating scandal came to light, and before it was revealed that he had fathered a baby with another woman.
His son Theo was born to Maralee Nichols in December, with Tristan offering a fawning apology to Khloe when a paternity test showed he was the father.
He also has a five-year-old son, Prince, with ex Jordan Craig.
Khloe and Tristan already share four-year-old daughter True, and reports show she wants him to be as involved in the new child’s life as in True’s.
A source told People: “As with True, Khloe will be raising the baby with Tristan.
“Tristan is the father and Khloe wants to involve him as much as possible. He’s great with True.’
