Laura Prepon opened up last week about her decision to have an abortion after the US Supreme Court overturned the Roe v. Wade case.

The bomb decision ended protection for people to seek legal abortion. That is, individual states can now decide how to regulate abortion.

With many stars sharing their anger on social media, protests erupted all over the country and around the world over the news.

Taking him to Instagram, the Orange Is the New Black actress has joined the people who look back on their own retirement experience.

The 42-year-old stood in front of the rainbow and posted photos, remembering the “worst days” of her life.

“The worst day of my life was when I chose to have an abortion late in pregnancy,” she began.

“The catastrophic truth is that we knew that the fetus couldn’t survive to maturity, and that my life was at stake.

“At that time-I had a choice.”

“Everyone has their own story to look for this medical procedure, and I sympathize with those who face this impossible decision,” Laura continued.

“I pray for all of us that we can overcome this difficult time and regain our bodies.”

Laura previously revealed that she was pregnant with her husband Ben Foster in 2018, a year after giving birth to her daughter Ella.

They didn’t publish the baby news, but decided to postpone it until the 16-week scan took place.

At that time, the couple was informed that the fetus had cystic hygroma. This means an abnormal development of the lymphatic system.

“Our neonatal specialist told us that the brain wasn’t growing and the bones weren’t growing,” she told People Magazine in 2020.

“We were told that the pregnancy never expires and my body is in danger of being carried anymore.”

“Ben hugged me when I cried,” she added to the publication. “We had to have an abortion.”

In 2019, she learned she was pregnant again, and the actress had a boy the following February, but she hasn’t shared his name yet.

The US Supreme Court has decided to overturn the groundbreaking Roe v. Wade ruling, which guarantees that those seeking abortion have access to medical services, and end constitutional protection against abortion.

Subversion means that it is illegal for a woman to end her pregnancy in certain states.

President Joe Biden has since accused the ruling of being “non-American” and “wrong, extreme, contactless,” adding that it was a “sad day for the court and the country.”

While hosting the recent BET Awards, Taraji P. Henson talked about the move, and stars around the world have widely condemned the decision.

“It’s a damn time to talk about the fact that guns have more rights than women. It’s a sad day in America,” she told the crowd.

“A weapon that can take a life is more powerful than a woman who can give it a life if she wants.”

Singer Pink also begged anti-abortion activists who “believe the government belongs to the womb of women” to stop listening to her music.
