TV presenter Chris Evans, known for his immoral behavior in the 1990s, has now been assaulted by Victoria Beckham for forcing herself to weigh herself on live television shortly after giving birth.
The extraordinary incident happened on Evans’ Channel 4 program TFI on Friday in 1999, two months after the then Spice Girls singer gave birth to Brooklyn, her first child with English captain David Beckham.
Evans told her, “A lot of girls want to know, because you look fantastic again, how did you get back to your shape after your birth?”
After answering that she was actually very lazy and not at the gym at all, the host did not want to give up and demanded: ‘Is your weight back to normal?’
When she said it was, he insisted, “Can I look, do you care?” before she stepped on a scale and remarked, “Eight stone is not bad at all, is it?”
The fashion designer now says: ‘I went on a TV show with Chris Evans many years ago and I just had Brooklyn and then lost a lot of weight.
‘It happened to my mother after her pregnancies. That does not mean you have an eating disorder. And he left me on the scales to be weighed. Can you imagine doing that these days? ‘
