Love Island‘s Paige Thorne did a subtle dig at Jacques O’Neill while she was on her last date with Adam Collardas the couple enjoyed a romantic drink on a boat.
The couple got closer and closer every day and started to crack since Jacques left the villa.
In tearful scenes just two weeks ago, Jacques made the difficult decision to leave the villaas he gave Paige his blessing to continue, and promised to wait for her at the airport.
But ever since he left, the head of the Welsh paramedic has turned… returning bomb Adamwho set his sights on her as he walked (back) into the villa.
Tonight, as they enjoyed their romantic date in a very idyllic setting, Paige told Adam: “Obviously my journey started a little differently. But ever since you got in, I’ve been smiling non-stop.
“Even if everyone was still in the villa, you’d be all of them, with whom I certainly see a possible future.
“And I just genuinely loved every second of it.”
Adam replied, “It just feels so normal, so natural.”
Viewers quickly picked up on Paige’s comments, with one writing, “Paige was trying to hint that if Jacques was here, she’d still pick Adam.”
Another wrote: “I think Paige has completely forgotten that Jacques exists.”
When she got back from her date, Paige told the girls about her date, saying it was “the cutest” she’s “ever been on.”
“It was honestly the most romantic date and the best date I’ve ever had in my life,” she said, adding that she knows her parents “would love Adam.”
“Frankly, my Love Island experience is two separate stories, I had a really rough rocky start in the beginning, I was unhappy, I cried a lot, I had good times too, but they just weren’t compared to what I have now. It’s exactly what I was looking for, and it ticks all my boxes,” she said.
Paige’s comments come after Jacques deleted all his photos of her from his Instagram.
It seems he’s come to realize that his former connection is a thing of the past, with photos of Paige now being deleted from his account, despite one of them having previously been pinned to the top of his profile together.
Several fans who saw Jacques quietly delete Paige’s photos from his Instagram tweeted: “Jacques has unpinned his photo with Paige and removed her from his profile. It’s safe to say he’s not going to pick her up from the airport.”
