BBC Breakfast’s Naga Munchetty pleads for help from fans after disturbing discovery at home

The BBC Breakfast star gained endless support from her 54,000 Instagram followers when she revealed she had a disturbing encounter at her home.

NAGA MUNCHETTY took to Instagram to ask for support from fans after finding a tiny bird in her house.

“Helpful suggestions to help this little one, please?” she wrote, along with a photo of a small brown bird resting in a box.

“I came home and saw it on its back in the house.

Just minutes after she posted the photo, along with the caption asking for help, Nagas comment section was filled with followers giving advice.

One wrote, “If we found birds caught by a cat, we would put them in a shoebox with warm bedding and a lid and let them de-stress in the dark and quiet.”

Adding: “They would often be fine and fly away after a rest.”

Another chimed in: “My cat caught a bird a few weeks ago, we rescued it by watering it, putting it in a box with holes in it, and leaving it in the garage overnight. – the next day he recovered.”

A large number of people suggested that Naga contact her local wildlife sanctuary – and later she had some good news for her followers.

24 hours later, Naga gave an update to her followers, saying, “Update: She’s been taken to a shelter and she thinks she’ll be fine. Phew!”

The fans of the BBC breakfast star, seemed very happy with the way Naga looked after this bird.

With one follower commenting: “You are a caring person Naga, beautiful.”

Another agreed: “Excellent job and glad you made it. You are so nice.”

One follower commented, “Excellent! It’s great when people care about you.”

Naga was inundated with followers saying “well done” and congratulating her on taking good care of this bird.
