Mr Bower has written the unofficial biography Revenge: Meghan, Harry and the War Between the Windsors. The book makes a series of bombshell claims about the rift between the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and the Royal Family.
The study author insisted that Meghan, who lives in the US with Prince Harry, can’t resist reading his book.
Asked by presenter Christine Lampard on ITV’s Lorraine, Mr Bower said: “Of course she will read it, I’m sure she will, she can’t resist.”
The provocative biographer’s previous books have included Boris Johnson, Jeremy Corbyn, Charles, Tony Blair and Richard Branson.
Asked if he considers it a “failure” if the subjects of his controversial biographies don’t charge him, Mr Bower laughed and said, “I don’t mind if they sue as long as they lose.
“So far they have lost thank goodness.
“I don’t think Meghan wants to go to court if she’s going to file a lawsuit if she’s being questioned by my lawyer.
“So it’s best if she doesn’t charge.”
Bower said he decided to write the book after Meghan and Harry’s interview with Oprah Winfrey in March 2021.
He added that the relationship between the Sussexes and the royal family was “really toxic” in the wake of Megxit and the TV interview.
In his book, Mr Bower makes a series of claims about Harry, Meghan and the royal family.
According to the biographer, Buckingham Palace refused the couple’s demands for a “prominent role” at the Platinum Jubilee.
Harry and Meghan returned to Britain with their children for the holiday weekend in June.
Bower also claims the Queen said “thank god Meghan isn’t coming” to Prince Philip’s funeral last April.
The Palace, which does not comment on individual books, declined to comment on the claim.
However, sources close to the Queen wondered if she would have anything other than the Duke of Edinburgh on her mind on the day of the funeral.
The Sussexes live in California after stepping back as working royals in March 2020.
