The nine-year-old girl stabbed to death in Lincolnshire has been named by police as Lilia Valutyte.
Detectives launched a homicide investigation after emergency services rushed to Boston’s Fountain Lane shortly before 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
The Conservative MP for Boston and Skegness, Matt Warman, said he has been in contact with the police secretary to ensure national aid is available following the ‘very shocking’ incident.
According to the police, Lilia’s parents have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers.
