President Recap Tayyip Erdogan also confirmed that he had met with his European leaders to address security concerns before a memorandum was signed by the three countries.
Turkish drone manufacturer Baykar has also announced that it has offered three of its drones “for free” to the Ukrainian military after a crowdfunding campaign in Ukraine.
The company, which has President Erdogan’s son-in-law as one of its directors, said: “We ask that the money raised be transferred to the struggling people of Ukraine instead.”

Erdogan also confirmed that Turkey would not join the sanctions against Russia and said he “cannot let my people freeze in winter”.
