PEP GUARDIOLA has named five Premier League teams who attack when they play against Manchester City but dull rivals Manchester United.
Called the Spaniard Liverpool as the first team not afraid to take on its title-winning squad.
Liverpool’s outgoing, fearless approach to play City however, is not seen throughout the competition.
City took on Everton on Saturday and came with a narrow 1-0 win after 90 minutes trying to break the Toffees.
Guardiola says most of the competition is taking the approach of sticking with it and making it difficult for his side.
He picked five teams to try against the defending Prem champions, but CUT out rivals Man Utd.
Guardiola said: “Yes [sitting deeper]. Maybe we provoke them, but most except Liverpool I would say, Brighton I would say, Arsenal at times i would say…let me think about it, maybe i’m forgetting someone.
“Aston VillaWe played there a bit too. There are times when they did it.

“But if we make a good build-up, they are basically seated.
“Leeds, also. The rest they sit back. But honestly I’m not saying anything wrong. Any manager, any team can do whatever they want, absolutely.
“It’s in our hands how we can break them – teams that are demanding, how to do it, and when teams sit back, how to do it.
“And one of the principles is be patient, don’t concede goals, don’t concede deep runs from them, counterattack and be patient and at the right time we can do it. Let’s keep it that way.”
Man City have 11 games left to defend their league title, but Guardiola expect to win the most games with the smallest margins.
He said: “Every game will be similar to how we lived (at Everton).
“Certainly. It’s done with the games with big margins of goals.
“Everyone plays for the Europa League, for the Champions League, to become champions, every game will be a battle, so we talked about that.
“It’s not the first time we’ve been in this situation and we’ve learned from that in the past.
“If you want to become champions in the Premier League, against this rival – Liverpool, they are not going to drop points – you have to do your job.
“In almost all games. We felt it in the past and we have to do it this year. So it’s no exception.”
“That’s why I give all the incredible credit (to the players) after three Premier Leagues in the last four years we could be more naive or arrogant in our behavior and it’s completely the opposite.
“So we still have the humility to go here and everywhere to try to play our game, respect the opponents a lot and try to win the games.
“This is the best award and the best performance, as a manager and staff, to graft into the hearts and minds of the players that no matter what happens, you have to try again and again and again and again. .
“I don’t know how it’s going to end, but we’re going to try. Now FA Cup (against Peterborough on Tuesday), derby, Champions League, Crystal Palace.
“Every game will be an incredibly tough battle and you have to face every game knowing that if we lose points it will be difficult to become champions.”
