Love Island Finalist 2019 Molly-Mae Hague shared her thoughts with fans on Gemma Owen and Luca Bis‘s seemingly unconventional “love language.”

Gemma and Luca have been paired up since the start of this year’s series and have remained one of the most solid pairs in the Villa.

However, they have been involved in several clashes in recent days, after returning from house love.

While neither was tempted by any of the new bombshell islanders, Gemma was accused of “flirting” with Billy Brown, which led to Luca to get all excited in the Mad Movies challenge.

They also rowed earlier this week after the Mile-High Challenge saw Gemma jokingly lick Adam Collard’s chest, with her other half storms from the Villa after discussing what happened in the task.

But the couple all laughed about their last epic date on friday nightbut not all fans were convinced, and many labeled it “awkward.”

One person who made her mind up about the couple’s relationship was former islander Molly-Mae, who after three years is still dating Tommy Fury, whom she met on the show.

She shared a photo of Gemma while on the date, writing: ‘What a girl [heart eyes emoji].

“But does her and Luca’s love language act like they hate each other? Because that date was different…” she asked fans on her Instagram story.

It was because those watching the screen couldn’t help but cringe, especially when Gemma seemed to ‘friendzone’ Lucacalled him her “best mate.”

Talking about what life would be like for the couple after leaving the villa, where their relationship would be tested much more severely than bomb threats and Casa Amor, Luca said: “Even to the outside world, at this point in my life I didn’t’ I don’t think anyone would come by and let me feel what you have.’

Gemma replied, ‘Since I met you I’ve been like, you’re more than just a partner, I really think I’ve found a best mate here.’

“Me too,” he replied, adding, “If I’m here with you, I don’t think I’d have had a better date, and I’m lucky to have you.”

Meanwhile, Molly-Mae seemed to get behind Tasha Ghouri and Andrew Le Page through her support, after watching their very romantic date.

She said to the fans, “Sorry, but I’m crying for Tasha and Andrew?”

The duo were taken on a very romantic Kardashian-esque beach date that left viewers swooning – but could they win Monday night?

Love Island airs tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
