Kate, de Duchess of Cambridgeand Prince William are expected to travel to the US together later this year as part of the Earthshot Prize. William recently announced that the second annual environmental awards ceremony will take place in Boston. Royal pundit Neil Sean has debunked claims by fans of Prince Harry and Meghan who have attempted to compare the media coverage of the two couples.
Mr Sean’s comments appeared to be in response to recent comments from a close friend of Sussexes and co-author of Finding Freedom, Omid Scobie.
Earlier this week, Mr. Scobie told Yahoo News that William’s trip to the US shows the family needs a “PR boost.”
He also claimed that the space once occupied by William and Kate in the US royal family’s media spotlight has now been taken over by Meghan and Harry.
Mr Scobie suggested this lost enthusiasm stems from the Cambridges falling “into a stable groove” when they settled in as a family of five.

Sean told viewers on his YouTube channel: “Sussex fans say William and Catherine need to go to America to get some American publicity, which focuses on Cambridges visit to the US for the Earthshot Prize later this year.
“Sussex fans say William and Catherine need that big publicity because Harry and Meghan seem to be so popular there.”
He jokingly referred to the half-empty audience at Prince Harry’s recent UN speech, noting, “We’ve recently seen how popular they are at Harry’s United Nations speech.”
The royal pundit continued: “Every American TV company I know of has already contacted Cambridges office to do a sit-down interview about Earthshot and their plans in America.
