Rylan Clark shares cryptic tweet after laughing at hopeful Tory leader

Ryan Clark for prime minister? Has a nice sound.

During last night’s The Last Leg, the TV personality was outspoken as she commented on the Tory’s current leadership race, such as Rishi Sunak and Liz Truss continue their campaigns to become the next prime minister Boris Johnsonhis resignation.

After Labor MP Jess Phillips brought up Nadine Dorries’ recent comments about the costs of the prime ministerial candidates outfitsClark stressed that he doesn’t care what they wear, but that he should just… ‘Take care of the people of this country and stop whining’.

The It Takes Two presenter’s statement earned him a standing ovation – and his political chat didn’t stop there, as he shared a cryptic message on Twitter hinting at potential Downing Street ambitions.

Clark shared a gif of Agatha Harkness of WandaVision, winking and smiling, tweeting: “Serious note…. Can anyone apply to be MP… then PM…. Ask for a friend.”

Whether Clark is seriously tweeting or joking, we – and we’re sure many others – would definitely be on board.

‘Tell your “friend” to do it!!!’ one responded, the other wrote: ‘You have my vote!’

‘Do it big man, we’ll support you’, someone else replied confidently, as one supporter urged him: ‘Do it, do it, do it, do it, do it…. Please?’

During the episode of The Last Leg, Clark even talked about the possibility of becoming prime minister, saying that if he took on the role, his first course of action would be to offer everyone free veneers.

What’s more, after the episode aired, the 33-year-old shared a photo of Chapter 19 of his upcoming new book Ten: The Decade That Changed My Future.

The chapter is appropriately titled ‘Rylan for PM’, with the subtitle: ‘You never thought I’d last this long… Just wait till I run the country.’
