FANS of The View threaten to boycott the long-running show if rumors of the new co-host’s name become reality.
The viewers are angry that journalist Alyssa Farah Griffin is reportedly next in line for a seat at the table.

They say they’d rather see more of Ana Navarro and promise to turn the show off unless they add the newsmaker.
It was reported last week that Alyssa Farah Griffin has been hired as a new full-time co-hostfollowing the departure of Meghan McCain last year.
Three sources informed DailyMail.com That Alyssa joins in Sara Haines, Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar and Sunny Hostin for the 26th season of The View, which starts in September.
But many fans rejected the choice of a new conservative host and instead called for favorite Ana Navarro to host.
There was great outrage on Twitter.
“I’ll stop watching The View if former Trumper, Alyssa Farrah Griffin, is hired,” one viewer told me. “Give the job to Ana Navarro, even if she has to stay in Florida!”
Another added: “If #TheView has integrity and wants a really different conservative voice that is not extremist and never sells out, it would only be @ananavarro.
“They need to reconsider and hire her, or many of us just won’t watch the show anymore.”
On viewer even cried the show for dragging their feet about making the official choice.
“The View dare not announce publicly that they have hired AFG as permanent co-host, because they know viewers RIGHT will leave en masse!”
NEW VIEW
Fans had previously speculated that ex-President Donald Trump’s former communications director might join the show full-time to take the conservative seat from ex-panellist Meghan.
Griffin has since criticized Trump, but she remains conservative.
She recently appeared on the show to talk about the Supreme Court overthrow of Roe v. Wadethe inflation crisisand rise in gas prices.
Alyssa’s July appearance on the ABC program came after rumors about the search for a new permanent panelist kicked off.
