Apple’s engineering R & D site in the Palestinian city of Rawabi is reportedly expanding, but little details have been revealed.
According to local Palestinian and Israeli reports, Apple has announced a significant expansion of its R & D efforts in the region. However, since the numbers are not available, it is said to be an extension of the Rawabi site.

Currently, Rawabi’s engineering research site is said to have 60 staff working on Apple Silicon and Face ID. However, there is more to it on other sites in Israel. In November 2021, Apple signed a seven-year lease at its R & D site in Herzliya Pituach, Israel, and applied for permission to build a new two-story building.
The site is said to have 800 staff. It is also argued that expansion is not about increasing staff, but about giving those workers more room.
