Former makeup enthusiasts have discovered a hack that makes foundation light and cake-like in minutes.
Viral TikTok videos sharing beauty hacks have been watched over 492,000 times.

“I don’t have hair or makeup,” Tik Toker Joelle begins the video.
“I lived that lifestyle,” she said, adding that she had lip fillers, liposuction, fake tans, and other cosmetological treatments.
However, after the divorce, she was forced to change her lifestyle.
“So I decided to focus on rediscovering myself about who I am without fake,” Joel said.
She goes on to say that some members of the family find it “rude” to attend family events that look “natural.”
To counter this, Joel tried to hack what he shared with his viewers.
“I heard about hacks that make makeup feel more natural,” she says.
First, put the liquid foundation in water.
Joel says that doing this separates the oil from the foundation and reduces the oiliness of the face.
She didn’t specify how long to leave the foundation in the water, but Joel said she could clearly see the oil separating.
Then she picked up the foundation from the bottom of a spoonful of water and began to apply it to her face.
“I feel really good,” she says.
“It’s a hassle, but it’s working.
“It doesn’t feel like you’re wearing makeup at all, it just feels like water.
“It feels natural, it doesn’t feel like makeup.”
Joel says he doesn’t wear this kind of makeup for a date, but he will definitely do so for family events.
This video has been watched nearly 500,000 times and has nearly 60,000 likes.
Hundreds of people have commented on Joel’s hack-and also support normalizing the lack of makeup.
