Nicola Sturgeon blamed the “distraction” and “Pretendy ref” from failure as a new poll.Politics | News

This week, the Prime Minister is presenting a “route map” for the second independence vote, and then seeking advice from the Supreme Court of the United Kingdom. A British minister said, “We generated the worst living costs in the G7 and helped us with the second lowest growth rate in the G20,” arguing that Scotland should work on its own.

However, the Scottish Tory MSP knows that there will be no referendum and claims that it is only renewing its willingness to independence to draw attention from the SNP’s failure.

Jackson Carlow wrote on Twitter: “There will be no referendum next year, and Nicola Sturgeon knows that.

“But by pursuing it unnecessarily, she continues to distract from her miserable national record of failing families across Eastwood and Scotland.

“Desperate turnaround.”

Commentator Kevin Edger added that the new independence movement was a “chaban.”

He writes: “Nikola Sturgeon, Ian Blackford, and other SNP members have a completely nonsense story about setting the date for independent voting.

“They don’t have the ability to make phone calls. They’re in the spotlight.

“Not doing their actual work is even more excuse.”

Donald Cameron MSP wrote on Twitter: “According to Nicola Sturgeon, if the Supreme Court’s decision is in favor of the Scottish Government, the decision must be respected.

“If it goes against them, it’s all Westminster’s fault. It’s unrealistic.”

Steve Kerr added: “… What is wasted every day in Indyref 2 is that Nicola Sturgeon is well aware that he cannot hold a proper referendum.

“This is all a show and she can tell her supporters before the next election.

Mr. Kerr also pointed out polling, suggesting that 53 percent of Scotland do not want their first minister to proceed with a second referendum.

In response to the allegations that the SNP is just pushing the referendum and distracting from its failure, party leader Keith Brown told Express.co.uk:

“The independence campaign has begun to gain momentum, and there are clearly no positive cases to continue control of Westminster.”
