When Ashley Ness went to a regular checkup in February, she was thrilled to find out that she was expecting a child with her boyfriend Val.

When a 35-year-old woman underwent an ultrasound two weeks later, she found that she was pregnant with four babies instead of one.
Ashley, who already has an eight-year-old daughter, was even more shocked to hear that her baby was not a quadruple but two pairs of identical twins.
Her unique situation even confused the ultrasound technician.

“I had a lot of trouble imagining my daughter, and I had a miscarriage in the past,” the beautician adds.
