A 20-year-old man has been detained by Gardaí in connection with the discovery and seizure of cocaine, valued at and estimated at € 325,000, in Dublin.
t 15:00 yesterday afternoon, Wednesday 29 June, gardaí conducted a search of a residential property in Mulhuddart, Dublin 15.
A Garda spokesperson said: “During the search, five kilograms of suspected cocaine, € 3 575 cash and other drug paraphernalia were seized during the search.
“A man in his 20s was arrested at the scene in connection with this seizure and is currently being held under the provisions of Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 at Blanchardstown Garda Station.”
The raid was carried out as part of Operation Tara and investigations are continuing.
