Tory MP Lee Anderson answers YOUR questions | politics | News

This is your chance to grill one of the most prominent Conservative MPs from the 2019 intake on the issues that matter to you. Want to know what Lee Anderson thinks about where we stand with Brexit? Boris Johnson’s political future? Should taxes be lowered? – whatever it is, let us know and he’ll give you his opinion.

Lee Anderson, a former miner, was elected MP for Ashfield in Nottinghamshire in 2019.

He became the first Conservative to represent the Constitution since 1977.

He took over from Labour’s Gloria De Piero, for whom he had previously worked as an office manager before defecting to the Conservatives in 2018 in protest at the takeover of the far-left.

A staunch Brexiteer, since becoming an MP, he has campaigned to make the most of the UK’s opportunities outside the EU and has gone viral on social media multiple times after taking on pro-EU campaigner Steve Bracy outside the EU. parliament.

Mr Anderson made headlines earlier this year when he controversially claimed that there was no “massive food bank use” in the UK and that its use was linked to a lack of budgeting and cooking skills.

He has urged the government to do more to reduce the number of illegal migrants crossing the Channel, and pledged to boycott England’s matches at last year’s Euros in protest at the team kneeling before kick-off.

Anderson is an outspoken supporter of Boris Johnson, supporting him in last month’s confidence vote.
