“Queen of Hip-Hop Soul” Mary J. Blige will take part in the Apple Music Live concert series with a live performance and recording in July.

As part of Apple Music’s concert series, Mary J. Blige will perform live at United Palace in New York on July 13. Local fans can sign up for a free ticket, although tickets are offered on a first-come-first-served basis.

Fans who do not live near the New York area – or those who can not get a ticket – will be able to see the performance on Apple Music on July 27.

“Only for one night is Mary J. Blige in New York for an appreciation for her life in singing,” Apple wrote. “Come experience Mary with an evening of music and storytelling during a live recording on July 13, then watch the program exclusively on Apple Music on July 27.”

The Mary J. Blige show follows two other live Apple Music concerts – rapper Lil Durk in June and singer Harry Styles in May.
