Amazon announced a free game for Prime Gaming subscribers in July, both through Prime Gaming itself and the free Amazon Luna Channel. All games will be streamed from July 1st. We also offer some free games up to Prime Day later in the month.

Free games available to Prime members are the classic adventure game Maniac Mansion, text-based RPG Suzeline, regular RPG Felsir: Arbiters Mark, Fishing: North Atlantic, Fishing Sim (Natch). Users can claim all four games via the Prime Gaming site or Twitch.

In addition to the free games we charge prime users, Amazon is also adding four new games to the Prime Gaming Luna channel. Other Luna channels require a monthly subscription fee. The Prime Gaming channel is free for those who have already paid for Prime. Users will have access to a rotation selection of games this month, including Mega Man 11, Overcooked 2, SkateBird, and Castlevania Anniversary Collection.

Amazon has announced that it will also offer some games for free on Prime Day, which will be held from July 12th to 13th. Users can request things like Mass Effect Legendary Edition, Grid: Legends, Need for Speed: Heat, and some Star Wars games. In the weeks leading up to Prime Day, users will also be able to “freeload” some indie titles, such as The Darkside Detective, Hue, and Fatal Fury Special, a synonym for Amazon’s bizarre claims.
