The report warns that fish and chips dinner prices will rise as offshore wind farms can swallow too much of the UK’s waters.
According to fishermen, Boris Johnson’s plans to add turbines to the sea mean that half of the territory could be lost by 2050.
Fish will not be caught in restaurants that have been forced to pay more and import.
The Scottish Fisheries Federation reports that the country will lose thousands of jobs.
The federation wants to participate in the green energy negotiations.
They say:
“Expansion of offshore renewable energy generation and marine conservation are prioritized over fishing.”
Last night, Cabinet Minister Jacob Rees-Mogg said:
“It is clearly important to properly consider the impact of all government policies.”
