Shooting in New Jersey: Local police confirmed that at least nine people were injured after the shooting in Newark | World | News

According to police, the shooting took place Thursday night when police officers responded to ShotSpotter’s notice at 6:20 pm (23:20 BST).

The location of the shooting was near a bar at 200 blocks in Clinton Place, and the shooting was reportedly from a stolen SUV.

Raul Malabe, Deputy Director of Public Safety at Newark, told NJ.com: [17 years old] Arrived at the Newark Beth Israel Medical Center for the treatment of gunshot wounds.

“The other four adult victims were taken to a university hospital to treat gunshot wounds.”

The director added that injuries are not life-threatening.

No arrests have been made and the detective is working to understand the motives of the case.
