Taylor Swift has reportedly been engaged to her boyfriend, Joe Alwyn, for “several months” for over five years.
The Sun claims that the 32-year-old singer wore an engagement ring ‘behind closed doors’ and that the couple only informed their close friends of the news.
Taylor began dating the 31-year-old Conversations With Friends star in late 2016, after they were rumored to have crossed paths at that year’s Met Gala in New York City.

DailyMail.com has reached out to Taylor’s representatives for comment.
“Taylor and Joe are incredibly happy and very, very much in love,” a source who claimed to be close to Joe told the outlet on Wednesday.
“They’ve actually been engaged for a few months, but have only told their inner circle — basically immediate family and trusted, very old friends.
“Everyone is also bound to secrecy.”
The insider claims Joe gave Taylor a “nice ring,” but “she only wears it when she’s home, so behind closed doors.”

“Again, only a handful of people know details about the wedding and Taylor hasn’t even told some of her team about the engagement,” they claim.
The source also told The Sun that Taylor and Joe “want to keep their love away from the cameras as much as possible” and that their alleged engagement is “just for them.”

According to the outlet, there are “no specific wedding details” and it is not known whether the couple will officially announce the alleged engagement.
