The Plateau High Court in Jos has sentenced three people to death hanging from the murder of their friend Joseph Gosum.
Defendants Terry Kefas, Samson James, Emmanuel Jar, and Patrick Nyam all stabbed Gosm in battle and killed them in all of Gadabyu villages.
The court found three people guilty of two indictments filed by the plateau government.

“The crimes you commit will be punished in Section 97 of the Criminal Code and Section 221, Cap 89 of the Criminal Code, Law of Northern Nigeria, 1963.
“It is the court’s belief that the prosecution has proved his case beyond reasonable suspicion. Otherwise, the defense counsel’s efforts to claim were not sufficiently convincing.”
The court subsequently found guilty of the charges and sentenced him to death by hanging or lethal injection.
Barr Mantu Ishiaku, a lawyer for the plaintiff, Deputy Director of Civil Rights Reform, Ministry of Justice, praised the court for his careful judgment under the law.
