CELEBRATED Minecraft YouTuber Technoblade shared a disturbing statement after the beloved gamer died of cancer.

In a YouTube video titled, “so long nerds,” Techoblade’s father shared a message from his son announcing the streamer’s death after he died at 23.

“If you read it, I’m dead,” the streamer’s father read tragically in the video, which now has more than one million views.

According to his father, Technoblade wrote his last message to his fans about eight hours before he passed.

In the video, Technoblade revealed that his real name was Alexander, as he kept his identity a secret from his fans.

“Thank you to everyone who has supported my content over the years. If I had a hundred more lives, I think I would choose to be Technoblade again and again, because those were the happiest years of my life. ”

“I do not think he said everything he wanted to say, but I think he got the main points,” he said in an emotional statement.

“He was the most wonderful child anyone could ever ask for. I miss Technoblade.

“Thank you to all of you, for everything. You meant a lot to him. ”

Techno’s family now runs its merchandise store as fans want to keep supporting him and his channel.

“In honor of his memory, a portion of the proceeds from all online orders will be donated to a wonderful organization called curesarcoma.org.

“Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts.”

CANCER DIAGNOSIS

His cancer diagnosis was made public in August 2021 when Techno explained that he began experiencing pain in his arm in July and took a few days off to recover, as he laid it down on a recurring stress injury from games.

But after a few days I realized his shoulder was swelling and thought he had broken a leg, so went to the hospital.

“They did some scans and told me the reason why my arm hurts because I have cancer,” he explained in his latest video.

“It really could not have gone worse.”

FAMILY STATEMENT

The video ended with follows a statement from Techo’s family which was also shared on Twitter by e-sports player Jake Lucky.

“We, the family of Technoblade, wanted you all to know how much he worships and respects his fans and colleagues.

“From Technoblade’s earliest online days, he has always planned ways to delight and reward his audience – giving away prizes online, encouraging good sportsmanship, and most of all, sharing his Minecraft adventures for fun and laughter.

“Even after his ultimate successes, he somehow managed to maintain his kind-hearted humility, competing with an engaging balance between self-confidence and self-deprecating wit.”

The statement explained that Techo, despite having more than 10 million subscribers, worked to keep his identity private.

“We ask you to continue to respect his wishes to protect his privacy and the privacy of his family.”
